Meet the Founder
I’m Brandon Steinbrecher.
For more than a decade, I’ve been designing and building immersive spaces — the kind of places people remember long after they leave. My background sits at the intersection of construction, scenic design, and storytelling, which means I don’t just build structures — I build experiences.
I’ve worked everywhere from massive music festivals and theme-park environments to off-grid cabins, tiny homes, and custom Airbnbs. Some projects start with full architectural plans. Others start with a rough idea scribbled on a napkin. I’m comfortable with both.
I’ve helped build large-scale installations for festivals like Burning Man, Electric Forest, and EDC, served as a Creative Lead for Insomniac Events, and designed or built over 100 themed Airbnb spaces throughout the U.S. I’ve also collaborated on scenic work for major theme park environments, including projects at Universal.
I work hands-on, I travel when needed, and I don’t overcomplicate things. If a project needs creativity, solid craftsmanship, and someone who can think on their feet, I’m your guy.

I cut my teeth in the festival world — where timelines are brutal, conditions are unpredictable, and failure isn’t an option.
As a co-founder of Duende Builds and later Creative Lead for Insomniac Events, I’ve helped design, fabricate, and install large-scale art and stages for some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Burning Man, Electric Forest, EDC, Hulaween, and more.
